The Atlanta Falcons were just minutes away from a trip to the Super Bowl in 2013 before falling to the San Francisco 49ers. They have been unable to meet those expectations since that fateful day in their home stadium.
Despite their issues in recent years, they have a franchise quarterback in Matt Ryan, a stud receiver in Julio Jones and another solid, albeit aging, weapon in Roddy White.
Despite their struggles over the last two seasons, the Falcons are only a few pieces away from being back in the playoffs. They should be able to address their needs aggressively in April’s draft.
